LET US KNOW YOUR VIEWS ON THE DUNLOP RANGE OF TYRES

The D208 road version image wasn't available, but the GP version is very close in looks alone.

The D208

The D208 currently is only available in very specific standard fitments for approximately 3 bikes (including the 2002 R1). Despite the scheduled Easter release and the huge drop in D207 and RR prices since Jan 2002, .

Customers on the tyres themselves are relating very mixed views currently. However, increased wear is a strong comment throughout. The negative comments have been focused at the lack of feel in general with those customers switching either brand or to the older D207RR's.

Watch this space!

The D207.

A top tyre with the sales to back up the opinion. The grip is very good, handling is good and the wear rate is not to bad with most customers reaching 4000 miles and above (without any track day outings). Also, all fitments tend to be at a very reasonable cost to the individual.

The only critism has been from the more extreme track riders who are seeking more uncomprimising grip than the standard D207 can offer. We'd argue that these tyres weren't made for that use anyway.
